This bridge is a simple span, 94’ long, pin connected Pratt through truss bridge that was constructed in 1894 and is listed as a state historic bridge according to the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
Paul W. Berthiaume, P.E., was the Lead Bridge Engineer and the Engineer of Record for this bridge rehabilitation which consisted of lower chord eyebar replacements and installation of supplemental members. This project also successfully removed and replaced the pins at the abutments which were original to the structure and comprised of wrought iron. This project was performed while at another firm.
