Associate Principal, Manager of Structural Engineering

Paul Berthiaume, P.E., our Manager of Structural Engineering, has 17 years of experience, 14 of which are exclusively in bridge design, rehabilitation, preservation, ratings, and construction services administration for state and municipal projects. Over his career, Paul has designed of a full range of bridge types from simple span structures through major highway interchanges. Currently, Paul is designing the replacement of Route 16 (Revere Beach Parkway) over Route 107 (Broadway) in Revere. Paul also prepared the base technical concept submission for the Chelmsford Design-Build Bridge Bundle (Westford Street and Gorham Street Bridges over I-495).

Paul’s collaborative approach perfectly complements the company’s mission to deliver infrastructure projects that improve the transportation system effectively. Paul’s understanding of AASHTO, MassDOT, and Federal guidelines, coupled with experience founded in construction, ensures that our projects advance.  Paul leads our Structural Design group with clear communication, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit that epitomizes our values.
