Celebrating MLK

To celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Howard Stein Hudson (HSH) Equity and Inclusion (E&I) Committee organized staff outings to The Embrace on the Boston Common. Commissioned by Embrace Boston, “the Embrace Memorial is an important cultural symbol of equity and justice for Boston residents and all those who visit the City. The artwork is a permanent monument representing the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King’s love and powerful presence in Boston, a time that helped shape their approach to an equitable society.”

The E&I Committee also compiled other MLK Day events and resources for staff who were unable to attend the in-person outings. These events were in communities across the Commonwealth and beyond, including New York, Nashville, and North Carolina.
