Leading the Way for Safe and Efficient Multi-modal Travel in Leicester
December 14, 2021
Through MassDOT Complete Streets funding, HSH partnered with the Town of Leicester to implement safety and mobility improvements to the Town Center.
These improvements provide much-needed connections between the Town Center and neighboring schools and the Senior Center.
This project includes a shared use path around the Town Common, new sidewalks to fill critical sidewalk gaps, a new raised crosswalk, and new pathways in and around the Town Common area to provide connections to Town Hall, First Congregational Church, the former Becker College campus buildings, and the Public Library.
