Steve leads our Worcester office and draws upon a talented group of transportation engineers, planners,and public outreach specialists to assist clients with realizing their visions.  Steve has over 30 years of consulting engineering and municipal public works experience including a wide range of civil engineering and transportation projects.  Just prior to joining Howard Stein Hudson, Steve was the DPW Director for the Town of Spencer for over seven years and is, therefore, very familiar with the challenges that municipalities face and how to resolve them.

Steve’s engineering, permitting, and leadership experience in both the public and private sectors provide a unique perspective on the merits and challenges facing transportation, infrastructure, and development projects of all types.  Steve is also keenly aware of the challenges that municipalities face with maintaining existing infrastructure, as well planning and preparing for future growth and economic development.

Steve works with our exceptional team to deliver public and private development projects, infrastructure maintenance and improvement, and transportation enhancement projects including assisting municipalities secure outside funding needed to see important projects become a reality.  Steve has a long demonstrated history of successful private and public sector projects benefitting the communities and clients to which they serve.

Steve’s expertise and leadership in these areas have often been recognized by others including a Central Massachusetts Transportation Planner of the Year Award, and a Construction Management Association of America Infrastructure Project of the Year Award.
