Paul W. Berthiaume, P.E., was the Lead Bridge Engineer for this superstructure replacement project located in downtown Andover. The new bridge is a simple span bridge with a span length of 79’-9” and is on a 56-degree skew.  Project rehabilitated the North Abutment and Northwest wingwall utilizing EPS foam lightweight fill and tiebacks and constructed a new micropile supported abutment on the South end of the bridge. The bridge superstructure consisted of steel girders with a composite, reinforced concrete bridge deck and semi-integral abutments. This project was performed while at another firm.
