Quincy: A City on the Move

October 26, 2013

HSH has been working with the City of Quincy and local Architect, Holmes & Edwards, on the preservation and renovation of Old City Hall in Quincy, Massachusetts. The building was constructed in 1844 and is one of the oldest functioning city halls in America. HSH is providing design and construction services that will result in modernizing the building’s infrastructure, including upgrading the electrical, telecommunications, water and sewer systems. The project is expected to cost over $8M and merges with HSH’s work on Adams Green, which is a central part of the $1.6B downtown redevelopment project.
