Traffic Engineer

 

Michaela is a Traffic Engineer with over seven years of experience in traffic design, traffic analysis and simulation, and safety analysis. She has contributed to the design and analysis of projects ranging from single-intersection reconstructions such as Spring Street at Central Street in Medford, to complex multi-intersection networks such as the Storrow Drive and Bowker Overpass projects in Boston, and extensive corridor improvements such as Route 20 in Marlborough and Route 30 in Weston. Michaela specializes in balancing multimodal operations to enhance safety and accessibility for all users. She has led Road Safety Audits (RSAs), performed traffic analysis using Synchro, SIDRA, and VISSIM, and developed technical reports, memorandums, along with traffic signal, pavement marking, and signage designs.
