Senior Civil Engineer

Matthew is a Senior Civil Engineer and a member of the Roadway Design Group. Matt is serving as the civil design lead on the Bowker Overpass complex roadway design project. A newly constructed bridge will provide bikes lanes, a shared use path, lighting, and landscaping features to complete the missing connection from the Emerald Necklace to Charlesgate and Commonwealth Avenue. Matt is also leading the civil design on MassDOT’s Storrow Drive at Bowker Overpass Project, which scope is to reconfigure the current on/off ramp connections. Project goals include more green space, new paths connecting the Emerald Necklace Path to the Paul Dudley White Path, and daylighting the Muddy River to the Charles River. Matt is also the project manager for the Northern Strand Extension. Proposed work includes intersection reconstruction, bus stop modifications, enhanced crossings, and two new shared use paths.
