Traffic Engineering

HSH has been delivering traffic engineering projects throughout the Commonwealth for more than 37 years. Our work includes traffic studies, parking studies, street and intersection designs for reconstruction, safety improvements, traffic signalization, street lighting and drainage, and signing and pavement marking plans.

For all our projects, we prepare the necessary reports and studies to document the data collection, field visits, and analysis that form the basis of our designs. Once we’ve identified the project’s traffic control and safety needs, we design improvements to address those issues. Problem solving is a primary function in what we do as engineers; it is the basis for an engineering mind. Although we learn the specifics of transportation or civil engineering, the crux of our education and experience is in a mindset of problem-solving.
