HSH prepared a Site Plan, stormwater management design, and utility design for a multifamily development located on 54.73 acres at 51-53-55 Summer Street in Walpole under Chapter 40B. The project consists of 52 rental townhouse units, and 216 rental apartment units with a centrally-located clubhouse. Apartment rentals will have access to underground assigned parking, and townhouse units will have a single car bay garage. This project incorporates a large amenity area and a dog park, as well as maintaining 81% as open space. A proposed walking trail connection will tie into the existing trail network located along the Cedar Swamp Brook, and the project will have full connectivity to and from Summer Street via the street sidewalks. 

The project was located within the riverfront buffer, filed a MEPA ENFX permit, and was permitted with two stream crossing, meeting the Massachusetts stream crossing standards, including two wetlands replication areas which were designed at a ratio of 1.5:1. HSH coordinated the project team including site survey, wetlands scientist, lighting design, pump station and utility design, and building and landscape architecture.
