The redevelopment project in Allston includes the demolition of the existing building and construction of a new six-story residential building with 111 apartments, including 22 income-restricted units and five artist live-work units, 58 vehicle parking spaces, and 111 bicycle parking spaces. HSH performed a transportation study that adhered to the Boston Transportation Department’s (BTD’s) Transportation Access Plan Guidelines and Boston Planning and Development Agency’s (BPDA’s) Article 80 Large Project Review process. The study included an evaluation of the existing and future conditions, projected parking demand, loading/delivery plan, transit services, pedestrian and bicycle activity, and transportation demand management strategies for the Project.

Anchor Line will support the local community through contributions to the Allston Brighton Community Development Corporation, the BPDA for use toward a future Braintree Street bicycle facility, BTD’s Bikes Program, and the Parks and Recreation Department to improve the adjacent Penniman Park.
