Northbridge Three Priority Bridges Rehabilitation

HSH is partnering with the Town of Northbridge to rehabilitate existing bridge structures located at Church Street over the Blackstone River, Linwood Avenue over Linwood Pond, and Church Street over the abandoned Blackstone Canal. Work includes the completion of permitting documents; structural engineering design plans and documents; and coordination meetings with the Northbridge Conservation Commission, the Northbridge Historical Commission, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

HSH is preparing repair documents which will consist of plans, details, and specifications for each bridge structures rehabilitation. Repairs include concrete spall patching, sidewalk washout repairs, re-pointing of stone masonry, underwater scour repairs, guardrail replacement, and vegetation removal.
