2021 World Mental Health Day

October 06, 2021

First recognized in 1992, October 10th is World Mental Health Day, an international day to bring attention to mental illness and its effects on peoples’ lives worldwide. The World Health Organization (WHO) supports this day by raising awareness and developing campaign materials to help health and civil organizations.

Eighteen months into the COVID-19 pandemic, many have faced issues with their own mental health, even people who had never experienced symptoms before.

At Howard Stein Hudson, we take mental health as seriously as any other medical condition. We encourage our staff to take care of their whole selves (mental, physical, spiritual) and talk with family, friends, and colleagues to reduce the stigma associated with mental health conditions.
