Does Your K-12 School Design Team Need Traffic Expertise?

January 30, 2020

Successfully designed schools incorporate safe and effective vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle circulation.  Let us help!

HSH’s Schools Team has wide-ranging experience working with architects, landscape architects, and communities to plan an effective school transportation environment for walkers, bicyclists, school buses, and automobiles.  Together with your design team, we can ensure that the travel needs of students, staff, parents, and municipal partners are met.

HSH can support your team by:
  • Developing optimal on-site circulation that will work during drop-off and pick-up periods;
  • Maximizing pedestrian safety;
  • Evaluating parking conditions for staff and visitors;
  • Identifying and assessing future traffic conditions;
  • Effectively linking the school campus with the surrounding neighborhoods; and
  • Assessing nearby, off-site transportation conditions to help municipalities address underlying neighborhood concerns.
You can be assured that HSH has the skills and expertise needed to navigate the process of providing access for all parties.  Meet Our Team!
